Museums in Milan

If you are a fan of museums - Milan has to offer a lot.

There are about 47 different museums - ranging from design, culture, famous people from Milan, art and fashion. I'm just gonna present four of those. Feel free to go to more - after all the offer is big.

In the heart of Milano just besides the 'Duomo di Milano' is the 'Museo del novecento'. There you can find different exhibitions. At the moment it's the art of Yves Klein. Next up is the 'Galleria d'Arte Moderna Milano'. The collections there are mostly donations form worthy citizens.
The 'Castello Sforzesco', which lies in the North-East of the old city, doens't only offer a great sight, in it are displayed ancient art and the archaeological museum of Milan. One special exhibit - amongst a lot of others - is the sculpture 'Pieta Rondanini' and incomplete work by Michelangelo.

Now to the part all designers were waiting for: The design museum 'Triennale'. The dynamic museum is continuosly renewed and offers the visitors an insight into the diversity and expression of Italian design over time. Apart from permantent exhibitions there are also theme presentations in the new part of the building. So it's always worth a visit!
